It seems as though the out-of-town developers who are trying to build a million-square-foot warehouse in our community — details here on the basics as well as some key resources for new visitors to our site — are unhappy with the level of opposition, because they have filed a second lawsuit against Maidencreek Township. (Find the full release and lawsuit here.)

Their complaint? Too many questions about their outrageous proposal!

Answering our questions is considered “unproductive!”
They didn’t like what we asked and what we have the right to know; therefore, they’re running to the courts to try and push things more in their direction.

Our concerns about the impact on our community are “inappropriate” and “irrelevant?” This is what they think about Maidencreek. This is what they think about us.
Friends and community members, this is not over. These lawsuits are intimidation designed to nullify our opposition and force their will upon our neighborhood.
They won’t have to live with the consequences of such a warehouse; they won’t have to endure the traffic, crash risks and blight. They won’t have to hear the noise all night of speeding cars and idling trucks. They won’t have to tolerate the lighting and commotion of the property. WE WILL. It’s imperative we BAND TOGETHER AND FIGHT TOGETHER. This is our community, not theirs.
