(This is the same note that was distributed this weekend by members of our team to various communities in Maidencreek Township.)

IMPORTANT – PUBLIC COMMENTS MEETING ON WAREHOUSE
Wednesday October 25, 2023 at 6:30 PM

Which do you prefer: 80 acres of open grass land or a million-square-foot fulfillment center for auto batteries with the potential for 500 more trucks PER DAY on our roads?

Dear Residents of Maidencreek Township,

Are you concerned about the increasing accidents and noise pollution on Rt 222? We share your concerns, especially with the potential construction of a 930,000 sq. ft. warehouse at Rt 222 & Schaeffer roundabout.

This project is unprecedented, as it would be the first warehouse to have its entrance as part of a roundabout on a State highway that already accommodates over 20,000 vehicles daily.

We believe that your voice matters in this situation. Therefore, we encourage you to attend this meeting at the township building on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 6:30 PM.

This Public Comments meeting is being held for the sole purpose of expressing your thoughts and concerns to the Board of Supervisors. Every resident will be given the opportunity to speak.

This will be your first and possibly last chance to voice your opinion directly on this matter before the township supervisors take a vote. Your silence could be interpreted as approval of the warehouse project.

We urge you to seize this opportunity and make your stance known.
