If you’ve never been here before, welcome and thank you for checking us out. To recap: we are a committed group of Maidencreek Township residents and community members who are working to preserve our neighborhoods from the proposed development on Rt. 222 between Tamarack Blvd and Schaeffer Road.
The out-of-town developers and their attorney/witnesses are proposing a one-million-square foot warehouse, but whose tenant remains unknown at this time and whose ultimate purpose is unclear. It is going to cause irreperable damage to our community and way of life; we will pay all of the costs and receive none of the benefits. It’s imperative we fight together, and we thank you for reading.
How can you help?
- Join us on Facebook. We will share updates and more information for those interested. We welcome your support and your ideas for how to fight together more effectively.
- Donate to our efforts. In the coming days we’ll publish a full accounting of where donations received so far have been allocated; we hope you’ll also consider contributing once you see what else we’re planning to fight against this proposed development.
- GoFundMe: if you wish to donate online, we have a campaign up and running.
- Send a check: write them out to Save Maidencreek with the word “Donation” in the memo field, mailed to: Save Maidencreek, PO Box 296, Blandon, Pa. 19510
- Sign our petition: We have over 680 signatures and counting: it’s a great way to be heard by your township supervisors.
It’s not too late to contribute and save our community.
