Hi all!
Thanks as always for your support! We just wanted to offer a couple of key items ahead of next Tuesday’s conditional use hearing (info above).
- Tuesday’s meeting agenda: We were informed that someone involved in the developer’s noise and acoustic studies will be testifying at the hearing and will face cross-examination. THIS IS IMPORTANT: if you’re worried about the increase in noise from the hundreds of added truck trips, not to mention the day to day functioning of the facility, this is a meeting you will want to attend. We are EXTREMELY CONCERNED about the sound studies and the developers are too: that’s why they sued the township in order to INCREASE the allowable decibels. Why would they want that? You have to wonder…
- We have legal representation! The wonderful Cory Leshner has taken on our cause and will be helping us with strategy throughout the remainder of this fight. He has experience in this area and has already provided a wealth of great information and insight. We look forward to fighting with him in our corner.
We remind you, Maidencreek friends and neighbors: THIS FIGHT IS NOT OVER AND WE CAN WIN THIS BATTLE. Let’s work together and keep our community from being irreversibly damaged by this out-of-town property developer.
